The ban on non-essential travel at the northern and southern U.S. borders, originally effective March 21 and later extended through May 20, has been been extended another month, through June 22.  Non-essential travel includes travel for leisure or recreation. Essential travel includes travel to work or obtain medical treatment in the U.S. as well as return to the U.S. by U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.
