Myanmar (Burma) designated for Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

Posted by Ryan Kosobucki | Mar 15, 2021 | 0 Comments

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas has designated Myanmar (Burma)
for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 18 months. This enables nationals (and individuals without nationality who last habitually resided in Myanmar/Burma) currently residing in the United States to file initial applications for TPS, if they meet eligibility requirements, including continuous residence in the U.S. since March 11, 2021.

For more information or assistance in applying for TPS, please contact our office in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida at (386) 506-8898 or [email protected]. We serve clients in Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Flagler Beach, Palm Coast, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, surrounding areas, and throughout the U.S.
